Nokia Maps and The Mapsters

with 2 comments

I don’t know if anyone else has had a chance to take a look at this, but I happened to stumble across this fun little site after a recent reformat of my hard drive to get Nokia Map Loader reinstalled. Nokia has launched an interactive website at themapsters.com intended to introduce what Nokia Maps is all about to newcomers to the application. When you click on the link, you get to choose between three different cute-looking creatures which you can control to convert different maps into what Nokia Maps looks like on your S60 device and they’ll also teach you about the features of the application. There’s also some downloadable content including a mediakit and wallpapers, and there’s a location-based game you can play to win a 6210 Navigator with a 12-month walk and drive subscription.

Whether you’ve used Nokia Maps before or not is irrelevant; this site is entertaining enough to check out no matter what. This made me smile so much I might just forgive the actual application for steering me wrong the other night. Click the image to visit The Mapsters and click ahead to download Nokia Maps.
